More Rail Baron® board games are in development

These print-your-own PDF files are designed to print/fit onto 8.5 x 11 inch paper; we recommend card stock. Their railroad deeds are designed to print/fit onto 2 x 3.5 inch business cards on sheets of 10 cards, such as Avery brand stock number 8471.

Prior to ordering print-your-own PDF files above, please verify you can properly print the components by trying one of the free maps. When ready, you can order via mail.

NOTE: Some assembly required. To play you will also need the rules, colored pieces/pawns to represent your trains (those from almost any board game will do), play money (use that from a board game, or print your own), and cards/paper to track the type of engine to which you have upgraded.

IOF boardgaming As an experiment, we're offering some maps in PDF format so you can print them yourself for personal use. Illustrated at right are boardgamers enjoying the Isle of Fantasy map at the World Boardgaming Championships. Maps in PDF form contain several interlocking panels; best results are usually obtained by enabling your software's "print to fit page" when you print.

After the panels are printed on 8.5" x 11" paper and interlocked, most maps are roughly 23" x 20" (60 x 50 cm) in size.

Let us know what you think. Were you able to print properly? Was the appearance acceptable? The end result will vary based on the quality of your printer (a color laser printer will do a better job than an ink jet).

Depending on your feedback, we may make more alternate maps available in PDF form. Send us your comments.
